Adult Athletics
The Cambridge CAP is looking to expand opportunities available to the community by forming athletic clubs. We are currently seeking peoples interested in leading the following clubs:
1. Running Club
2. Road and/or Mountain Biking Club
3. Triathlon Club
4. Ski Club
*Anyone interested in forming one of the above mentioned clubs or an additional club is asked to contact the Activities Office directly at 423-8108. Following the formation of the clubs, further information will be available on our website at www.cambridgecap.net , through the Cambridge News, in upcoming publications/brochures, or by contacting the office.
Step 360
**Attention: Steppers
Due to a decrease in numbers, the Monday night Step 360 class will be cancelled for the remainder of the summer (effective Monday, June 30th). Thank you for your understanding. It will resume on both nights in the fall.
Date: Mondays and Wednesdays,
Time: 6:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
Location: Cambridge Elementary School Gymnasium
Instructor: Lesli Buehler, NASM, and Jody Wilke
Fee: $4 R / $6 NR per class- pay as you go
This step workout will take you 360 degrees. It will challenge any level of stepper from the beginner to the advanced. This hour long class will include 40 minutes of cardio stepping followed by a 10 minute abdominal workout. Be prepared to be “traveling” and moving “around the world” during this great total body workout. Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a mat for floor exercises; steps will be provided.

Yoga

Discover a gentle approach to better health by attending yoga! Learn yoga exercises, breathing, visualization, and relaxation techniques and the art of meditation. Participants are encouraged to wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing, and bring a yoga mat and water.

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow you to dance away your worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO" allowing you to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both your body and your mind. Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. Minimum of 12 participants.

Jazzercise

Fees: Joining Fee: $25 (One time fee paid by new members or former members with expired passes of over 3 months)

(An automatic payment from your checking account or credit card on the first of each month. No contract or commitment. You can cancel at anytime. All cancellations received by the 15th of the month will be effective by the 1st of the next month)

1 month pass = $44

3 month pass = $104
Discounted rates available for members age 21 and under. Discounts are also available for Moms on EFT with daughters age 18 and under. Cambridge class members can also attend additional classes in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Edgerton, Janesville, Whitewater and Beloit at no additional cost.

Masters' Swimming

We've revamped this year's program to focus more on hobby triathletes who want a great workout in the spring and summer. Our summer workouts will be geared to two triathlon times - early summer and fall. Our main focus will be peak fitness for a full swim season; however, technique will be assessed on a continual basis. If you are not the competitive type, come and try us out for a workout that is easy on the joints and great for you.

Co-ed Dodgeball League

Fee: $50 R Team / $60 NR Team
Looking for a way to get active this summer? Get your team together for this high energy, action packed league! Dodgeball is back! Official NADA rules will be followed; rosters must have a minimum of 8 players, two of which are females. Individuals wishing to participate that are unable to form a team are asked to contact the CAP office and will be placed on a team. A minimum of six teams is needed to run this league. To register your team or for more information please contact the CAP office by June 8 (online registration is not available for this program).
