Tots In Motion

Get ready for some movin’ and grovin’ with Miss Janette! We will use a wide variety of equipment, music, and songs to get our hearts pumpin’ and our feet movin’. This program will help kids develop their motor skills and promote socialization. Min 8/Max 20

Tot Time Crafty Critters

Times: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: CAP Youth Center
Ages: 2 – 5
Fee: $3 R/$5 NR per session

Calling all toddlers! Join the CAP staff once a month for arts and craft time! Your child will have the opportunity to create themed projects to take home. Projects will be fun to create, and will make great gifts! Please plan to be in attendance to aide your child.

Stuff n' Fluff Teddy Bear Workshop

Date: Sunday, July 13
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: CES family room
Ages: 2 & up
Fee: $17 R / $22 NR

Make your very own teddy bear! First, your child will choose a high-quality, un-stuffed teddy bear or other animal, and hand-stuff it themselves. Next, they will wish upon and insert a star. Your child will name their creation, create a customized birth certificate, and personalize their new friend by dressing it in an adorable and authentic outfit. Lastly, they will color and decorate a take home bag for their cuddly new friend. Additional teddy bear accessories will be for purchase after the class.

Start Smart Sports Development Program

Date: Saturdays
Session I: June 7 – July 19 (no class July 5)

Time: 8:30 a.m.– 9:30 a.m.
Ages: 3-5 years & parent/guardian

Location: Nikolay Middle School 1939 gymnasium
Fee: $25 R / $35 NR
Start Smart is a critically acclaimed development program from the national Alliance for Youth Sports that helps kids get ready for organized sports…and succeed in life. It’s a step-by-step approach now being used across the US that builds confidence, self esteem, and makes sports fun! Parents work together with children in a supportive environment to learn the basic skills…throwing, catching, kicking and batting for sports such as baseball, softball, soccer and basketball. Min 10/Max 20

Location: Nikolay Middle School baseball fields
Fee: $25 R / $35 NR

Start Smart Baseball is a developmentally appropriate introductory baseball program for children 3-5 years old. Start Smart Baseball prepares children and their parents for organized baseball and softball without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Age appropriate equipment from Franklin Sports® and Hasbro® is used in teaching throwing, catching, batting, running and agility.
