Tot Time Open Gym
Dates: Wednesdays, January 13 – March 24Time: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location: NMS Historic auditorium
Fee: FREE
At this drop-in program, children and parents will have the opportunity to play in an indoor gymnasium. A limited number of toys and balls will be available; participants are encouraged to bring their own balls and toys. Please enter the school through the Youth Center entrance. A registration form must be on file for all participants in the event of an emergency. Open to all families!

Start Smart Sports Development
Date: Sundays, January 10 – February 14Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Ages: 3 – 5 years & parent/guardian
Location: CHS Gymnasium
Fee: $25 R / $38 NR
Start Smart is a critically acclaimed development program from the National Alliance for Youth Sports that will help your child get ready for organized sports…and succeed in life. It’s a step by step approach now being used across the country that builds confidence, self esteem, and makes sports fun! Parents work together with children in a supportive environment to learn the basic skills…throwing, catching, kicking and batting for sports such as baseball, softball, soccer, and basketball. Min 10 / Max 20.

Start Smart Soccer
Dates: Mondays, April 19 – May 24Time: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Ages: 3 – 5 years & parent/guardian
Location: CES Soccer Fields
Fee: $25 R / $38 NR
Start Smart is a developmentally appropriate introductory soccer program. Start Smart Soccer prepares children and their parents for organized soccer in a fun, non-threatening environment without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Age appropriate soccer equipment from Kwik Goal ® and Koosh® is used to teach kicking, dribbling, trapping, throw-ins and agility. Min 10 / Max 20.

Start Smart Golf
Dates: Saturdays, April 17 – May 22Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Ages: 5 – 7 & parent/guardian
Location: Ripley Park
Fee: $25 R / $38 NR
Start Smart Golf is a developmentally appropriate introductory golf program. It is a parent participation program for young children who have never played golf. Start Smart Golf will prepare your child for golf using fun, age appropriate equipment from SNAG®. Start Smart Golf prepares children for traditional golf without the threat of competition. Min 10 / Max 20.

Tot Time Crafty Critters
Times: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.Location: CES CAP Care Room
Ages: 2 – 5
Fee: $3 R / $5 NR per session
Calling all toddlers! Join the CAP staff once a month for arts and craft time. Your child will have the opportunity to create themed projects to take home. Projects will be fun to create, and make great gifts. Please plan to be in attendance to aide your child.

The Art of Imagination
Dates: Tuesdays, March 2 – March 23Time: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Ages: 2 – 6
Location: CES Art Room
Instructor: Kristin Stockwell, Certified Art Teacher
Fee: $16 R / $24 NR
This class will celebrate a child’s innate ability to create and play. Your child will create projects to take home with them or give as gifts. Parents of two and three year old students please attend with your child to make the experience a success. Parents of older students are welcome at anytime.

Art Movement

Fee: $16 R / $24 NR
Whether on the road, in the air, or at sea, there are so many things moving all around us. This concept will be the theme of the class. We will create a variety of projects with the focus being on nurturing the children’s self esteem, exploration of their environment, and using their imagination. Our truck-themed art pieces will be on display at the Touch-A-Truck event. Parents of two and three year old students, please attend with your child to make the experience a success.
