Have you ever considered teaching a class for CAP? Do you have an idea for a class or program that you would like to see offered? We are always looking for new instructors with creative ideas. If you have a suggestion for a new program or are interested in teaching a class, please fill out this form and return it to the CAP office.

Cambridge Area Youth Center

Youth Center Assistant Supervisor
• Assist in the daily operations of the after school and summer youth program.
• Hours 3-6pm, Mon.-Fri., with some nights and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

CAP CARE

The Cambridge Community Activities Program is hiring two Child Care Assistants to assist with the operation of before and after school care. Employment will begin in February 2012. Employment will consist of 10-15 hours per week from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm, during the school year. There is a potential for summer time employment but this is not guarenteed.

Under the supervision of the Child Care leader, the Child Care Assistant shall support the Child Care Leader in daily activities, as well as planning and implementing programs. Job Responsibilities will include assisting with daily operations, including checking children in and out of the facility, preparing and assisting with snack times, providing positive direction for activities, and communication with parents and staff.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the State of WI qualifications according to code DCF 251, referring to a Child Care Assistant. The successful candidate will also be certified in CPR and First Aid.
