CAP Youth Center Summer Hours:

The Cambridge Area Youth Center is open to Cambridge area 5-8th grade students. The Youth Center offers a safe place for youth to participate in positive social, recreational, educational, and community service activities under supervision of professional staff. The Cambridge Area Youth Center is located in rooms 317 & 318 in Nikolay Middle School. The Youth Center also has access to the old school gym, and use of the Nikolay Middle School restrooms.

RULES
You must sign in when you arrive, and sign out when you leave If you leave you may not be allowed back in
Only use appropriate language
Unruly, physically aggressive, or dangerous behavior is unacceptable
Respect the staff, equipment, building, and all people and their property
No bullying
Absolutely NO food, gum, or beverages in the gym
Snacks and soda may only be eaten/drank at the tables with chairs
Clean up after yourself
Inappropriate expressions of affection will not be permitted
Anyone participating in improper or illegal acts will be subject to disciplinary and/or legal actions
Anyone not following these rules will be dismissed from the premises and/or will be suspended from the Youth Center.
** The Youth Center follows a "three strikes, you're out" policy. Anyone not following these rules will be given a warning. If a student has accumulated three warnings, they will be dismissed from the premises and/or will be suspended from the Youth Center, and parents will be notified. The on-site supervisor has the right to determine the appropriate level of discipline at any time.
HOURS
The Youth Center is open Monday Friday from 3 6 pm. On early release days or no school days, the Youth Center is open from 11am 4pm, unless there is a field trip planned.
The Youth Center is closed on all major Holidays.
The Youth Center is also closed when school is closed due to inclement weather.
Check the monthly calendar in the Youth Center for any other changes.

Come to the Youth Center to work on your homework, and earn points to use towards rewards and prizes! Earn points by: Starting right away, working hard, helping others, completeing all work, and attaining teacher's proof of completion. |
Youth Council
The Youth Council is a group of active Youth Center participants who focus on leadership and community service. Youth Council members earn points for attending Youth Council functions, fundraising, and volunteering. Once they earn points, the top earners get a reward, such as a treat or trip. These are some examples of events the Youth Council has participated in: Youth Service Day

Bring your friends to the Cambridge CAP Youth Center for a fun-filled summer evening! Each Fun Night has something different to offer, including outdoor games, basketball, ping pong or pool tournaments, games in the gym, relay races, crafts, and more! Fun Nights will include dinner of pizza or subs.

The Youth Center is offering a convenient way for you to get your Papa Murphy's pizza and contribute to the
Youth Center at the same time!
Simply place your order by noon on the first Monday of each month, and pick up your order at the Youth Center on the first Tuesday of each month between 4:30-6:00 pm. The Youth Center will receive a portion of each sale!
Pick up will be at the Cambridge Youth Center, 211 South St. from 4:30-6:00 pm.
