Safe Return – Ladies Day Away

A maximum of 10 participants is allowed.  Please email the CAP office at cap@cambridge.k12.wi.us to RSVP for the date you would like to attend.

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: CHS IMC
Fee: FREE

Have you ever wanted a day to just get away and do your own thing? We’re providing the location, you provide the activity. Quilting, scrapbooking, knitting, sewing, crafting, painting, reading, etc. Come for a couple hours, or join us for the whole day. A quiet area with computers will be available if you’d like to get some work or studying done…away from home.

Women’s Self Defense

Dates: Saturday, October 17
*Must sign up with a family member or someone in your close circle*
Times: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: NMS Youth Center/Old Gym
Ages: 14 & up
Fee: $50 R / $65 NR
Instructor: Sensei Patricia Bolton, IMOK LLC

Learn to protect yourself during this 4 hour workshop. Self-protection is more than just physical techniques. Protecting yourself
comes in many forms. Sensei Patricia Bolton, 3rd Dan, of IMOK, LLC and Shin Gi Tai Wisconsin will guide you through learning not only the physical techniques used to defend yourself if attacked, but also red flag behaviors to watch for, how to use your body’s reaction to danger to your advantage, safety measures to take to help you avoid danger and how to get help if you need it. Appropriate for ages 14
and up. Minimum 8 participants.
