YoungStar is a Department of Children and Families (DCF) program created to improve the quality of child care for Wisconsin children. YoungStar evaluates the quality of care given by regulated child care providers and rates them from 1 to 5 stars, with 5 stars being the highest rating. A provider’s star rating is based on:

CAP CARE is a state licensed group child care facility that provides enrichment based, wrap around care and programming for children in grades 4K – 4th grade. CAP CARE is located in the Cambridge Elementary School. Our curriculum and activities are in alignment with the YoungStar School Age Curricular Framework.

Fee Initial $30 registration fee to hold spot. $4.00 per hour for care. Payments CAP CARE will accept check, cash or credit card. Parents will fill out a monthly calendar by the 21st of the preceding month of the dates and times their child will be attending. No refunds/credits will be given for any missed dates (including illness).
Snacks are included in the hourly fee
Breakfast ($2.15) and lunch ($3.25) are an additional fee
4K: A child must attend a minimum of three times per week.
K-4: A child must attend a minimum of four times per week. This may be a combination of morning and/or afternoon periods.

Winter break Jurassic Adventure
Travel to a world of Raptors & Dinosaurs and rescue the remaining prehistoric creatures before they are destroyed by the volcano! We will learn how to tame a raptor with Hoo’s Woods Raptor Education show, snorkel through the swamp as we escape the dinosaurs at the Cambridge Community Pool and sled away from danger as we sled down the hills at Westside Park. Children will need to bring a sack lunch. Minimum of 10 participants.Register Now!
