CAP C.A.R.E. Staff


It is our goal at CAP C.A.R.E. to provide your child with a creative, active, recreational and educational opportunities.  We strive to ensure the complete safety of all our participants not to mention that they have fun!

Please take a moment to get to know each of our staff members.

Mandy Hollis

Center Coordinator

CAP Care Coordinator

Mandy has been with the Cambridge Community Activities Program since 2010 and Lead Teacher with CAP C.A.R.E. since 2014.

Mandy has an Associate of Arts in Early Child Development from Grand Rapids Community College as well as her Program Development Credential in Child Care.

During her free time you will find Mandy spending quality time with her  daughters, Hope and Bella. She is also a volunteer EMT for the Cambridge EMS.


Gabby Stachel

Child Care Co-Teacher

Miss Gabby currently lives in Fort Atkinson, and studies Early Childhood Education at Madison Area Technical College. She was introduced to teaching as a Junior in high school when she enrolled in a dual credit program through Waukesha Technical College, and fell in love with the role of a teacher ever since. Gabby’s eventual goal is to have her own 4k classroom at a Montessori based center. She loves doing hands on activities like crafts and cooking with the kids here at Cap Care, and cannot wait to see what this school year has in store her! The children love Gabby’s positive attitude and fun energy.

Abbey Stinner

Child Care Co-Teacher

My name is Abbey Stinner and I and from Grayslake, IL. I just finished up my second year at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and I am now a junior. I am majoring in Physical Education with a minor in Health Education as well as Coaching. During my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends especially on the lake when it’s summer!​ I am so excited to be apart of the CAP CARE team and I can’t wait to see what this summer has in store for me in Cambridge.

Brenna Steed

Child Care Assistant Teacher

Hello!  I’m Brenna and I am so excited to be joining the CAP CARE Staff.  I just finished up my sophomore year at UW-Whitewater as a Public Relations major with a minor in Marketing.  In my free time I like to be with my friends, family, and dogs.  Boating, roller blading, and watching movies are a few of my favorite things to do. I look forward to getting to know everyone this summer!

Megan Stafford

Child Care Co-Teacher

Miss Megan graduated from UW-Platteville with a B.S. in psychology and criminal justice.  She is currently working at the Whitewater Middle School as a paraprofessional in the special education department.  Megan enjoys working with kids and spends her summers working at camps.  When she is not working she enjoys hiking and camping in the summer and quilting in the winter.

Kristin Stockwell

Cap Care Co-Teacher

Miss Kristin has been with the Cambridge Community Activities Program since 2008.  Miss Kristin began teaching the First Friends program which has greatly flourished under her direction.  In the fall of 2016, Miss Kristin came on board with Cap Care as a co-teacher primarily during 4k wrap around time.

Jessica Schroeder

Child Care Co-Teacher

Miss Jess is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  She is from Germantown, just north of Milwaukee.  Jess was a business major her freshman year, but after working as a camp counselor this past summer she decided to change her major to Elementary Education, minoring in Mathematics.  Working with kids last summer changed Jess’s entire perspective of what she wanted to do in her career.  Miss Jess stated “the kids continue to surprise me everyday on the way they think, feel and act.  I like having them keep me on my toes, because then I feel there is something new everyday!” Miss Jess looks forward to continuing to build relationships with the kids and making sure Cap Care is educational and fun!

Mikayla Sullivan

Cap Care Co-Teacher

Miss Mikayla just finished her sophomore year at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where she is majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Social Science. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her nine nephews and one niece, do crafts, spend time on her sister’s farm, go horseback riding, fishing, camping, and many other outside things. She has a passion with working with kids and helping people and is looking forward to the summer working with CAP C.A.R.E.!
