Special Events

Location: NMS New Gymnasium

Fee: $10 per child/hero couple, $3 per additional child

Me and my hero!  Boys and girls bring your hero, whether that’s mom, dad, grandpa, grandma or some other loved one for this night to remember!  You will create lasting memories at this extra special dance.  We will be rolling out the red carpet for our Hollywood themed event this year.  Dress is your red carpet attire and be ready for the paparazzi as well as dancing the night away provided by a live DJ.  Heroes don’t miss out on this chance to spend some quality time with your little loved one.

Fee: $5 R / $7 NR (no charge for parents or chaperones)

An Easter egg hunt you won’t want to miss! Swimmers of all abilities will have the opportunity to collect eggs from the pool and receive treats for their efforts! Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and children age 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.  

Underwater Egg Hunt will occur at different times and in varying depths of water to allow participation by all swimming levels.

0 – 4        6:15 p.m.

5 – 8        6:30 p.m.

9 & up        6:45 p.m.

Participants may change age groups according to swim ability if parents see fit.

Touch-A-Truck & Bike Rodeo
Date: Saturday, May 12
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: CHS, East Parking Lot

Join us for the annual Touch-A-Truck event! Don’t miss your chance to see the vehicles that fascinate you up close and hands on,  including emergency and military vehicles, farm equipment, race cars and much more. Registration is not required for this free event. Don’t forget your camera for this wonderful photo opportunity! In conjunction with Touch-A-Truck, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office will also be hosting a bike rodeo. A bike rodeo is designed to be a fun, educational and hands on way for children and parents to learn about bike safety. An adult must attend along with the bike riders. Free bike helmets will be provided for the first 50 participants to arrive and participants can enter to win a new bike!
